History on display in The Gallery.

Enter one of the galleries below to see a pictorial history of modern figure skating shown through its collectible pins:

  • The World Gallery: An exhibit of pins commemorating the World Figure Skating Championships. Currently on display: 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1965.
  • The European Gallery: Commemorative pins that have marked the oldest major event being held: the European Championships. Currently on display are pins from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
  • The U.S. Gallery: On display here are event pins that have commemorated the United States Figure Skating Championships. Currently on display: 1965, 1970, 1973, 1974 and 1976.
  • The Canadian Gallery: From the Great White North, pins that have marked the Canadian Figure Skating Championships. Currently on display: 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1978.

All pins on display at The Netropolitan are from the private collection of The Curator. Pins are shown at actual size, unless otherwise noted. In some instances, because of the small size of a pin, it may be difficult to easily read the year or venue; for this reason, each pin is titled with this information on the exhibit.
